THE STORY
Captured during the brief reprieve after the first lockdown, CONTEMPLATION reflects a deeply personal moment in time, a journey of soul as much as of place. Photographed in Andalucía in Spain in the summer of 2020, during that brief moment of release at the end of the first lockdown of most of our lives.
CONTEMPLATION is a visual meditation on youth, caught in the storm that developed in 2020. Teenagers who found themselves at the edge of possibility, only to have the world pause beneath their feet. It speaks to that specific loss, of time, never to be recovered, the losses, the absence of normal milestones, of connection, of movement, of becoming.
