THE STORY

Captured during my debut public showcase in the vibrant heart of Sotogrande, Andalucía, Spain, this artwork is a bold visual statement — a symphony of black and gold. The deep black could represent the darkness we’ve emerged from, while the Strawberry Moon glows in gold — a symbol of value, power, and promise. Is it a full stop at the end of a chapter, or a signal of what’s to come? The moon is full in every sense — symbolising completeness and influence. It exerts its pull on tides and emotions alike. Its golden hue reflects richness, radiance, and transformation. The dark background embraces imperfection — perhaps the scarred terrain we’ve crossed — but the gold whispers of growth and resilience. STRAWBERRY MOON stands as a luminous guidepost, a symbol of recovery and hope.

MINIATURES

Miniatures are the smallest edition of each piece — open edition 15 x 15 cm artworks, printed on brushed aluminium and framed in solid wood. Each miniature arrives in a black presentation gift box with a pair of white cotton gloves and care instructions, making it a perfect gift or entry point into collecting Katha Wood’s work. These open editions are beautifully finished and ideal for shelf display, gallery walls, or intimate interior settings.
