THE STORY

Shot in San Roque, Andalucía in 2023, FORTRESS captures a bold modern home – its orange façade lit by the last of the evening sun, its form defined by geometric lines and deep shadows. Windowless, walled, and flanked by towers, one discreetly fitted with CCTV, this structure evokes a strong sense of isolation and protection.

Printed on gold or silver textured aluminium, this piece glows with warmth or clarity, depending on the finish – yet the message remains the same: we live in a time of heightened watchfulness, privacy, and a need for boundaries.

Miniatures are the smallest edition of each piece — open edition 21.3 x 15 cm artworks, printed on aluminium dibond and framed in black wood or aluminium.

Each miniature arrives in a black presentation gift box with a pair of white cotton gloves and care instructions, making it a perfect gift or entry point into collecting Katha Wood’s work. These open editions are beautifully finished and ideal for shelf display, gallery walls, or intimate interior settings.

COLLECTORS

Every piece comes with a signed certificate of authenticity and a pair of white cotton gloves.
